Sophie-Joy Ondet has been in charge of applied research programs concerning organic fruit production for 18 years. Her expertise concerns the natural resistances of regional fruit varieties in South-East France, the cultivation of cover crops on the tree rows and crop protection by phytotherapy. She has participated in several national and regional research programs on these topics, including coordination for some of them.
