Associate Professor and tree ecophysiology lecturer. PhD in Fruit Orchard Management (since 2006). Her research focuses on the environmental effects on fruit tree physiology, especially in water scarcity and climate changing conditions. Her researches aim to develop new strategies to improve water use efficiency while maintaining production quality and yields. She has been involved in 5 EU projects including a thematic network as well as in 7 operational groups funded within the rural development program (RDP). Chair of the EUFRIN Working Group on “Water Relations and Irrigation” and member of the EIP-Agri Focus Group on “Water & Agriculture”. Author of more than 70 publications in scientific and professional journals.
